(GaitWay Horse Association)
The purpose
of this organization is to promote the enjoyment of the Gaited Horse in its natural
way of going – on the trail, in the field and in the show ring. Therefore, the
use of any method that creates sensitivity or soreness with the intent to enhance
or alter the horse’s natural gait is prohibited!
The
association will promote the humane treatment of horses, good sportsmanship and
camaraderie among Gaited Horse enthusiasts. It will promote flat shod shows,
encourage trail riding, and hold learning clinics and fun shows.
As members
of this organization, we will strive to educate the general public, encourage
and promote the ownership of the gaited horse!
I/We hereby
apply for membership in GWHA and agree to abide by the intents and purposes of
this organization as stated in its By-Laws.
The GWHA and Its Members Will NOT
BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS OR INJURIES TO ANY EXHIBITOR OR HORSE. GWHA and its members shall not be liable for
an injury to or the death of a participant resulting from the inherent risks of
equine activities.
